The Royal Historical Society of Queensland are active publishers, and promoters of publishing on the topic of Queensland History.
In 2014 in partnership with QBD we published Lost Brisbane a spectacular collection of more than 500 photographs from the Society’s Photographic Collection that traces the development and changes in the city and its environs over a period of 100 years.
The Society regularly publishes the Queensland History Journal and Bulletin to members as well as making available a range of high quality publications relating to the objectives of the Society for purchase.
Since 1915 the Royal Historical Society of Queensland Journal has been the leading avenue for regular publication of articles on Queensland history. It is published every three months and it produces readable and interesting articles with high standards of research and referencing.
